LIGO Hanford is one of two facilities in the U.S. searching for gravitational waves. We strive to be accessible to the public, and encourage a passion for science and an understanding of the universe in which we find ourselves.
At 1:30 PM on the second Saturday and at 3:00 PM on the fourth Friday of every month we offer free public drop-in tours that will give you an excellent look at our facility. Tours usually last about two hours. Tours work best for participants of middle school age and up, but all ages are welcome! Visit our website for more details.
